One Launch Date, Different Schedules
A mint order and a gummy order may reach approval and production readiness at different times. We coordinate order and delivery requirements so the dispatch discussion reflects each factory’s progress.
Build your candy range across manufacturing partners with one sourcing contact. We coordinate product selection, samples, private label requirements, production orders, inspection requirements and delivery discussions around the products you choose.
Source complementary candy categories through Yunfan. Product selection, flavour, net content, packaging and labels are reviewed together, while each SKU retains its own manufacturing and commercial conditions.
| Candy Category | Product Direction | Key Selection Points |
|---|---|---|
| Mint Candy | Mint and sugar-free mint options for your assortment. | Review the selected formula, mint profile, piece format and retail pack. Sugar-related claims depend on the specific product and destination market. |
| Gummy Candy | A chewy candy category alongside other confectionery formats. | Define the intended texture, shape, flavour and ingredient restrictions. The proposed configuration is reviewed with the relevant manufacturer. |
| Coffee Candy | Coffee-flavoured confectionery for a distinct flavour segment. | Compare ingredients, flavour profile and pack format. Coffee products can differ in dairy content and formulation. |
| Milk Candy & Milk Tablets | Dairy-flavoured confectionery in different product formats. | Distinguish milk candy from milk tablets, then review ingredients, allergens and packaging for the selected SKU. |
| Tea Candy | Tea-flavoured candy for an additional flavour direction. | Review the tea profile, ingredient declaration and pack presentation. Product claims and label wording need their own assessment. |
| Crispy Candy | Candy with a crisp bite for texture variety. | Compare the selected product’s composition, texture, allergens and packaging rather than relying on the category name alone. |

A multi-category order needs a common purchasing plan, with enough detail to keep the individual products, manufacturers and approvals clear.
A mint order and a gummy order may reach approval and production readiness at different times. We coordinate order and delivery requirements so the dispatch discussion reflects each factory’s progress.
A shared design does not make ingredient lists, allergen statements or nutrition information interchangeable. We coordinate packaging and label requirements while keeping product information tied to the correct SKU.
Product and printed packaging minimums can differ between factories. We bring these conditions into the same sourcing discussion so you can assess the assortment before committing to quantities or a combined delivery plan.
Different candy categories call for different manufacturing considerations. Our sourcing role connects your selected range with the relevant partners, rather than treating every category as the same production requirement.
We coordinate the candy, pack format, net content and branding requirements within the same conversation. Sample and packaging discussions stay focused on the intended retail product.
Quantities, packaging conditions, inspection requirements and delivery handovers need a defined scope. Coordinating these points gives you a more useful basis for comparing the proposed order.
Define the product first, then connect sample, packaging, order and delivery requirements with the relevant manufacturer.
Candy categories, destination market, quantities and packaging direction establish the scope for product selection and factory discussions.
We discuss suitable references and required changes. New flavours, formats or formulations are reviewed according to the relevant manufacturer’s feasibility.
Product samples, net content, pack format, artwork and label information are considered together. Each selected SKU needs an agreed reference.
We coordinate production order requirements and discuss the inspection scope. Responsibilities and acceptance criteria should be agreed for the specific order.
Combined or separate shipment decisions depend on product readiness, factory schedules, cargo conditions and the agreed logistics scope.
Check the same decision fields across manufacturers while keeping product-specific limits separate. Agree what will be inspected, who is responsible and what information is needed before the order is released.
| Review Area | What to Compare | Why It Matters |
|---|---|---|
| Product specification | Agreed flavour, texture, appearance, piece format and net content. | Similar-looking candy can have different formulations and acceptance criteria. |
| Ingredients & allergens | Formula-specific declarations and relevant shared-line information. | One product’s statement cannot be reused across the whole assortment. |
| Samples & packaging | Sample reference, pack construction, artwork version, seals and coding requirements. | The candy and its packaging need to match the same approved brief. |
| Factory documents | Named manufacturer, production site, certificate scope and product category. | Documents need to apply to the actual manufacturer and production activity. |
| Dispatch information | SKU identity, quantities, batch and date information, and agreed inspection records. | Product identity needs to remain clear through collection and shipment handovers. |

Our manufacturing partners include SHANTOU CITY FUMEIDUO FOOD CO., LTD. Its ISO 22000:2018 and HACCP certificates identify the holder, production sites and candy tablet production scope.
The stated scope concerns candy tablet production at the listed second- and fifth-floor production sites. These documents apply to their named holder and scope; they do not extend to every product or manufacturing partner in a multi-factory order.
A combined shipment can be worth evaluating when orders have compatible readiness dates and handling requirements. Waiting for one factory can also delay products that are already ready. Compare the complete delivery plan, including collection, handling and remaining shelf life.
| Dispatch Option | When to Evaluate It | Main Trade-Off |
|---|---|---|
| Separate factory dispatch | Products have different deadlines or readiness dates. | Earlier products can move independently, while freight and documentation need assessment for each shipment. |
| Coordinated collection & combined dispatch | Products can meet an agreed collection window and compatible handling conditions. | Potential freight efficiencies need to be weighed against collection, storage, handling and waiting costs. |
| Ocean freight: LCL or FCL | Volume, route and delivery window suit sea transport. | Compare total freight and local charges alongside transit time, handling exposure and shelf-life requirements. |
| Air freight or courier | Samples or time-sensitive quantities justify the cost. | Faster transport may carry a higher cost per unit; food acceptance and handling still need review. |

A lower candy price does not necessarily produce a lower delivered cost. Keep the product, quantity unit, packaging and delivery scope consistent when comparing proposals.
| Cost Component | What the Comparison Should Include |
|---|---|
| Candy | Selected specification, quantity, unit of measure and factory minimum. |
| Packaging & setup | Printed packaging minimums, artwork scope and applicable tooling or setup charges. |
| Samples & inspection | The agreed sampling, testing and inspection work, responsible party and applicable fees. |
| Collection & handling | Factory collection, any storage, handling and consolidation charges within the proposed arrangement. |
| Transport & destination | Freight, insurance where applicable, local charges and the agreed delivery terms. |

Supplier selection, private label approvals and delivery planning work together. Use these questions to evaluate the details behind your next candy order.
Start with the product and actual production site. Compare samples against the intended specification, check the manufacturer’s identity and document scope, and assess whether its packaging and order conditions fit the project.
Adding factories can broaden your assortment, but it does not automatically create a backup source for the same SKU. A replacement manufacturer needs its own sample, formulation, packaging and approval review. For our mint, gummy and complementary ranges, product and factory matching comes before assumptions about interchangeability.
A shared brand can be applied across products from different manufacturers, subject to each product’s packaging and development feasibility. Keep the brand presentation consistent while maintaining separate product information and approvals.
A milk tablet and a gummy may share a design style while requiring different ingredient declarations, allergen information, pack structures and factory minimums. Yunfan coordinates these product and private label requirements with the relevant manufacturing partners.
Discuss private label requirements →Identify the contracting parties and the manufacturer responsible for each SKU. Record the specification, sample reference, quantities, packaging version, pricing basis, payment terms, inspection requirements and delivery responsibilities.
Also agree how changes, delays, nonconforming goods and claims will be handled. For formulations, artwork or tooling, clarify confidentiality, ownership and permitted use. One sourcing contact does not by itself define the contractual or invoicing structure.
Work backwards from the required availability date. Allow time for selection, samples, artwork approval, packaging preparation, production and transport. Review each factory’s schedule rather than applying one lead time to the assortment.
Decide how to handle partial readiness: wait for the remaining products, dispatch separately or adjust the range. Review quote validity, ingredient availability and packaging commitments instead of assuming a fixed seasonal price pattern.
Multi-factory sourcing involves more than one manufacturer; those manufacturers may be in the same country. Multi-country sourcing adds separate origins, export arrangements and potentially different documents and transport routes.
Identify the manufacturing locations, country of origin, exporter and collection points for the proposed order. Yunfan’s service centres on coordination with cooperating manufacturers, with the sourcing and delivery scope agreed for the project.
Confirm importer registration or an applicable exemption, food movement record requirements and controls relevant to the selected product. Check classification and formulation before assuming the same requirements apply across an assortment. Refer to the CFS Food Safety Ordinance guidance and Imported Food Control information.
For prepackaged candy, review the food name, ingredients and allergens, date marking, applicable storage instructions, manufacturer or packer details, net contents and nutrition labelling. Nutrition labels generally require energy and seven specified nutrients, subject to applicable exemptions. Review the actual formula and final artwork with the Hong Kong importer before printing. See CFS Food Labelling guidance and Nutrition Labelling guidance.
Hong Kong is a free port and does not levy a general customs tariff. Ordinary candy is not one of its four categories of excisable commodities. Freight, handling, declaration charges and other applicable service costs still belong in the delivery budget, and customs and food requirements remain relevant. See the Hong Kong Customs cargo clearance guidance.
Share your candy categories, expected quantity for each product, destination market and packaging direction. We will use the brief to discuss product options, manufacturing partners and the requirements that need to be coordinated.
