The product behind the name

Get the Bite, Pack and
Presentation Working Together

A product name or photograph cannot communicate every buying detail. The intended texture and selling format need to fit the same brief.

When “Toffee” Means Different Things

A name alone may not communicate the bite you expect. We use the chosen product style and sample discussion to align the intended chew, crunch and structure with the manufacturing partner.

When the Candy and Pack Are Developed Separately

A pack that looks suitable may leave soft pieces sticking together or brittle pieces exposed to damage. We coordinate product and packaging discussions together, so separation and presentation are considered within the same brief.

When the Order Has a Fixed Event Date

Artwork, packaging approval, dispatch and transport also affect the schedule. We bring these requirements into the order discussion before commercial conditions are agreed.

A practical comparison

Match the Bite to the Way It Will Be Sold

Texture affects more than the eating experience. It also changes how pieces are separated, protected, presented and assessed during sample review.

From product style to your brand

Customize the Product and
Its Presentation Together

We coordinate caramel toffee customization around the product style, flavour direction, piece format, pack weight and branding requirements. The proposed combination is reviewed with the relevant manufacturing partner.

Product Direction

Start with a soft, crunchy or coated format. Flavour preferences, piece size and shape, centre texture and coating requirements form part of the development discussion. Feasibility depends on the selected formulation and process.

Private Label Presentation

Brand artwork, pack format, declared net weight and label content are considered alongside the candy. A change to the recipe or piece format may also affect the packaging and information printed on it.

Order Configuration

Retail packs, event portions and gift presentations involve different packing and handling needs. Product quantity, packaging quantity and assortment requirements are reviewed for the chosen configuration.

Intended use Packaging direction to discuss Why it matters
Retail sale Branded consumer packs with a defined net weight Aligns product presentation with the intended shelf format
Events and hospitality Individually presented portions or counted packs Supports portion planning and distribution
Corporate and seasonal gifts Branded outer packs, gift boxes or assortments Connects candy selection with the gifting presentation
Bulk supply for further packing A defined bulk pack and handling specification Clarifies how pieces will be protected before repacking

These are project directions, not a fixed stock-pack list. Packaging construction and order conditions are agreed for the selected product.

A clear supplier relationship

Product, Packaging and Factory Coordination Through Yunfan

We bring product selection, private label packaging and order requirements into one commercial conversation. Manufacturing activities remain with the responsible partner, while Yunfan coordinates the agreed requirements.

Texture, piece format, pack presentation and branding are discussed together. This keeps the sample and packaging review connected to the product you intend to order.

Coordination Across Your Candy Range

If caramel toffee forms part of a wider assortment, we can coordinate related product discussions across manufacturing partners. Quantities, packaging and production conditions remain specific to each product and factory.

Trade-fair experience within our sourcing network includes food and confectionery events in Chengdu and Jinjiang, together with overseas exhibitions in Malaysia and South Korea.

Answers before you order

Caramel Toffee Buying Guide

Understand product differences, sample evaluation and the practical details behind a custom order.

What is the difference between caramel and toffee candy?

Caramel confectionery is often associated with a soft, chewy texture, while traditional hard toffee has a crisp, brittle bite. Recipes and naming vary between markets, and soft toffee is also a recognized style. “Caramel toffee” therefore does not identify one universal texture.

For procurement, compare the actual bite, ingredient declaration and product structure. Our three development directions separate soft and chewy pieces, hard and crunchy toffee, and coated formats so the discussion starts with the product experience you want.

How is caramel toffee made in commercial factories?

Commercial production generally starts with weighing and blending ingredients, followed by controlled heating to develop flavour and reach the required solids content. The mass is then cooled and formed into the intended product. The sequence and equipment depend on the recipe and format.

Formulation, cooking and cooling all influence the finished texture. A factory’s process description is useful background, but the selected sample and agreed specification remain the basis for evaluating your product.

& Forming

Typical process stages; the route varies by formulation and product format.

What should I check if caramel feels sticky or grainy?

Stickiness and graininess are different issues. Surface sticking can involve the formulation, storage conditions and contact with the wrapper. Graininess can result from unwanted sugar crystallization.

During sample review, assess the product in its intended packaging, including how it unwraps and whether pieces remain separate. Agree the expected texture and storage guidance for that formulation. A general “non-stick” claim is less useful than checking the candy and wrapper together.

How should I plan bulk candy for an event or corporate gift?

Begin with the number of recipients, portions per recipient and intended presentation. Where portions are planned by piece, calculate the required piece count first, then convert it to an order weight using the agreed piece weight.

For example, 500 recipients receiving four pieces each require 2,000 pieces before any additional allowance. The corresponding weight depends on the selected candy.

Yunfan can coordinate the product direction, branding and packaging discussion. Assortment composition, packaging quantities and the delivery schedule are agreed for the selected configuration.

Can I request a sugar-free caramel toffee formulation?

Sugar-free should be treated as a separate formulation requirement, rather than a packaging choice. Include it in the initial brief so feasibility can be reviewed with the relevant manufacturing partner.

Availability is confirmed for the proposed formulation. Do not assume that a conventional caramel toffee can be relabelled as sugar-free, or that sugar-free implies calorie-free.

Which ingredient and nutritional details should be reviewed?

Use the information for the exact recipe and pack being ordered. Review the ingredient list, declared allergens, nutrition information, net weight and storage instructions together. Milk ingredients, nuts or ingredients introduced through a coating may change what needs to be declared.

Values from another flavour, coating or supplier are not a substitute for the selected product’s information. Label content should remain aligned with the final formulation and intended market.

What determines MOQ, lead time and shipping arrangements?

Order conditions depend on the product, customization work, packaging construction and printed-material quantities. A branded gift presentation may involve different minimum quantities and preparation steps from a bulk pack.

The schedule also includes sample and artwork decisions, production and transport. Yunfan reviews these requirements with the manufacturing partner for the order; there is no single MOQ or delivery period covering every configuration.
