Choose Your Ordering Path

A product reference, a private label brief and a multi-category order need different reviews. Choose the starting point, then connect product decisions with packaging and shipment planning.

Existing Product Reference

Start with a candy reference and review the flavour, pack format, quantity and destination market.

What shapes the order Current availability, selected packaging and manufacturer confirmation.

Private Label Order

Connect your product brief with branded packaging, artwork and label requirements through the relevant manufacturing partner.

What shapes the order Development scope, sample review, printed components and final approvals.

Multi-Category Order

Bring several candy categories into one sourcing discussion while retaining specifications and responsibilities for each product.

What shapes the order Product-level quantities, production readiness and compatible delivery arrangements.

One connected discussion

From Product Brief
to Delivery Handover

Keep the selected candy, responsible manufacturer and agreed order requirements connected through each stage.

  1. 01

    Define the Order

Identify the candy, intended market, approximate quantity and packaging direction.

  2. 02

    Review Feasibility

Match the request to a manufacturing partner and review the proposed product specification.

  3. 03

    Samples & Packaging

Discuss the applicable sample path, pack format and artwork before final approval.

  4. 04

    Coordinate Production

Align approved product and packaging requirements with the manufacturer’s order arrangements.

  5. 05

    Agree Inspection Points

Define the inspection and release requirements applicable to the order.

  6. 06

    Plan the Handover

Align dispatch readiness, shipment requirements and the agreed delivery responsibilities.

MOQ, sample arrangements, mixed-order conditions and production schedules are reviewed for the selected products and packaging. An existing product reference does not automatically mean stock is available.

Keep the Details
Working Together

Yunfan keeps sourcing and order discussions under one commercial contact, while product-level specifications and manufacturing responsibilities stay clear.

Review the Pack with the Product

Net content, pack format, artwork and quantity belong in the same discussion. A candy reference alone does not define the finished retail pack.

Retain Each Manufacturer’s Conditions

Several products can involve different quantities and production schedules. We coordinate the discussion without treating separate factories as one production line.

Separate Dispatch from Arrival

Product approvals, production readiness and transport are different stages. Review all three when planning around a required delivery date.

Shipping choices

Compare the Journey,
Not Just the Freight Rate

Packed weight, dimensions, route and handling requirements all affect the quote. Compare offers on the same service scope, including collection and delivery responsibilities.

General transport comparison · route availability is order-specific

Transport Method Typical Purchasing Use Main Trade-off
Express Courier Samples and smaller parcels where a parcel tracking reference is useful. Convenient parcel handling, with costs affected by chargeable weight and destination.
Air Freight Time-sensitive commercial shipments when a suitable route is available. Often shorter main transit than sea freight; airport handling and final delivery still matter.
Sea Freight Larger, less time-sensitive shipments. Longer transit and additional port or consolidation stages; suitability depends on shipment size and route.

Packed Weight & Volume

Chargeable weight may depend on actual weight or shipment volume. Cartons and protection affect the calculation.

Origin & Destination

Collection points, border crossings, ports and final delivery locations change the handling involved.

Service Scope & Terms

Freight, clearance services and local handling may be separate. Check what the written quotation includes.

For Hong Kong or another nearby destination, compare routes available to the actual dispatch point. Parcel services, commercial freight and cross-border delivery arrangements are different services.

Retail pack meets transport pack

A tin, pouch or individual wrapper presents and contains the candy. The transport pack must also account for movement, pressure, moisture and the proposed route.

Retail & Display Configuration

Slide-tin mint references include 20 g tins and a 12-tin display format. Review how tins and display units will be secured inside the outer carton.

Inner & Outer Packing

Bagged and individually wrapped products still need an agreed carton configuration. Final carton dimensions, weights and protective materials belong in the order specification.

Heat & Moisture Exposure

Review product storage instructions, expected transit and receipt conditions. Insulation or temperature-controlled transport requires product- and route-specific agreement.

Packaging references apply to their specific products. They do not establish the same pack options, carton quantities or protective performance across the complete candy range.

Working with manufacturing partners

Order Requirements
Linked to the Manufacturer

We coordinate the selected candy, packaging and inspection requirements with the responsible manufacturing partner. Supplier documents and food-safety credentials must relate to their named holder and applicable scope.

  • Product and packaging requirements considered together.
  • Artwork, date and batch-code positions reviewed in the packaging brief.
  • Inspection points and delivery handovers agreed for the order.

Candy Ordering &
Shipping Questions

Practical answers about order timing, transport references, warm-climate packing and destination requirements.

How long does a candy order take to arrive?

The full schedule includes product review, any sample or packaging development, approval, production, dispatch and transport. A carrier’s transit estimate covers only part of that schedule.

Approvals Production Dispatch Transit & delivery

Existing product references and new private label specifications can involve different preparation work. Work backwards from a required arrival date and distinguish estimated dispatch from estimated delivery. Customs processing and local delivery can also affect arrival.

How can I track my candy shipment?

Use the reference issued for the actual transport method. A courier parcel may use a carrier tracking number; a freight shipment may use an air waybill, bill of lading or forwarder reference. An order number identifies the purchase and is not necessarily a shipment tracking number.

For an existing Yunfan order, contact your order representative with the order reference and any transport reference already issued. This helps distinguish production status, dispatch status and movement after carrier handover.

How should candy be shipped to a warm climate?

Review the selected product’s storage instructions alongside the expected journey. Gummies can soften or stick, while pressed candies can also be affected by moisture or unsuitable handling. A tin or individual wrapper is not thermal protection.

Consider transit time, transfers, suitable protective packing and prompt receipt. If insulation, cooling materials or temperature-controlled transport are needed, their suitability and availability must be agreed for the product and route. Protective materials alone do not guarantee a temperature-controlled journey.

What should I check before importing candy into Hong Kong?

Hong Kong’s Food Safety Ordinance provides for food importer and distributor registration and food-movement records. Before ordering for resale, your importer should check registration or exemption status, product classification, applicable food and label requirements, and shipment documents. See the Centre for Food Safety’s Food Safety Ordinance guidance.

Specific import controls apply to certain food categories. Check the exact product against the CFS imported food guidance. A manufacturing partner’s food-safety certificate does not replace an import permission where one is required.

Can different candies or flavours be ordered together?

We coordinate multi-category and mixed-order discussions. Different flavours, printed packs or manufacturing partners may retain separate quantity requirements and production schedules.

A combined sourcing order does not automatically mean one mixed retail bag or one consolidated shipment. Those arrangements require separate review of the assortment, packaging, quantities and dispatch readiness.

Which payment methods can I use?

The accepted payment method, currency and payment stages should be stated in the quotation or sales agreement. Payment options on a retail candy website should not be assumed to apply to a bulk or private label purchase.

Before payment, check the contracting seller, beneficiary details and agreed order reference.

Is free shipping available for large candy orders?

Freight is reviewed within the project’s commercial terms. Order value alone does not establish a free-shipping entitlement. Any freight allowance or included delivery service should appear in the written quotation, together with its destination and service scope.

Compare the combined product, packaging and delivery cost, including separately quoted clearance or destination handling.
